Care organisation PSW from the Netherlands, focuses on caring for clients with a mental disability, with 1,150 employees and 470 volunteers. To make it easier for them to work, they use Workspace 365 via our partner Ictivity. In addition to Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365) and SharePoint, Ictivity has developed its own workplace service called Omnia Workspace based on Workspace 365.
Complete workspace renewal
In 2017, PSW, a care organisation for clients with a mental disability, thoroughly overhauled its IT environment. It has been completely renewed with the transition to a new electronic client file and a ‘PSW portal’ based on Omnia (using Workspace 365) from Ictivity, Office 365 and SharePoint.
With this transformation, care providers have the necessary information and processes immediately available. By implementing this, PSW can guarantee an even higher level of quality. Of course, the transition had a significant impact on the way of working and on the employees. Marcel, ICT Manager at PSW, talks about the importance of this transition and how employees have been included in the entire transformation process.
“In addition to the work being simplified, digitisation really does contribute to optimal care for the client”. – Marcel, ICT Manager at PSW
By switching to the new PSW portal based on Workspace 365, the care systems are arranged more effectively and employees can work much faster. “The switch to the new portal and working method has been a good choice. It offers a number of advantages for healthcare providers, enabling them to provide even better care to our clients.”
Also in time of Corona, the portal has proven itself by its ability to roll out and implement image communication applications very quickly. Now, together with Ictivity, we are adding extra possibilities through Power Apps. This enables us to support employees even better in their daily work.
