The Sint Maartenskliniek, specialised hospital in posture and movement, is one of the first hospitals in the Netherlands to have made the transition to a completely cloud-based workspace based on Workspace 365, together with Ictivity. Besides optimising the user workspace, the underlying IT infrastructure has also been modernised and they have migrated to the cloud. Ictivity takes care of the entire technical management and provides user support with an IT adoption process and e-learning facilities.
Omnia workspace by our partner Ictivity
‘Omnia Workspace‘ (based on Workspace 365) developed by Ictivity provides a safe digital workspace for which the user only needs a browser. With the large number of employees of the Sint Maartenskliniek, it’s important that every user is met in his or her specific needs. For this, the hospital pursues the vision of Ictivity with an optimal user experience as a guiding principle. The process was therefore started with an examination of different working styles and personas within the Sint Maartenskliniek. As a result, each employee has been provided with a workspace that meets his or her specific needs.
Cloud strategy for hospitals
The Sint Maartenskliniek is known for their innovative character; the choice for a cloud strategy is cutting-edge in the world of hospitals. With the Omnia Workspace based on Workspace 365, the clinic takes an important step in improving the ICT experience of the end-users. All 1700 employees will use the online workspace solution. The Sint Maartsenskliniek now has a flexible, agile environment that moves with the organisation’s developments and in Ictivity an ICT partner who completely relieve them in the area of ICT management.
“We find flexibility and the user experience of the online workspace very important. That has played a big part in our choice to outsource the development and management of the technical infrastructure to Ictivity.” says Casper Hesp, manager ICT at the Sint Maartenskliniek.
