New: SharePoint images in the live tile
With this update, it becomes possible to also retrieve SharePoint images in the RSS live tile, to reinforce your internal communication even further.
Stronger visual communication
There’s a reason “a picture is worth a thousand words”. Especially in the age of Snapchat and Instagram, images are a vital part of communication – your internal communication included. Did you know that content with visuals gets 94% more total views? And that visuals are processed 60.000 times faster than text? With different sources constantly competing for people’s attention, you want your internal news and announcements to stand out. The use of images can help you with that. Also, it will help to spark people’s interest, so that they are more inclined to click on your message and continue reading.
Not only will the use of images make your news and announcements more noticeable in the workspace, a visual aid will also help to get your message across more clearly.
New: Move and copy files between SharePoint, OneDrive, file server
We’ve broken the file-moving limits. Yes, you read that correctly. From now on, you can limitlessly move and copy files between SharePoint, OneDrive for Business and the file server. This does not only allow you to manage (the location of) your files more easily, it also allows you to very easily transfer or copy files from your file server to OneDrive for Business or SharePoint, which makes, when the time comes, a complete transition a lot easier.
New: Choose preferred date and time settings
Considering the fact that we are rapidly growing and expanding globally and the fact that Workspace 365 is an adaptive workspace, we thought it would only be logical to combine the two facts and make the workspace globally adaptable: with the new option to choose your preferred date and time settings.
As you probably know, in different countries there are different formats to display time and date. Now, for new users, the correct time and date format are automatically detected, without having to set it up. Though If you prefer a different time setting, naturally it’s always possible to change it to the format you prefer. Current users can choose the format they prefer, so they can always view the time and date in one glance without having to think about it.
What else is new?
The features above are the highlights of this update. But there’s more, such as:
- Delete multiple users at the same time
- Clearer messaging and more option when credentials password is incorrect
- Improved implementation of the To-Do live tile
