This update brings some great improvements of features we have recently introduced in a previous update, such as the Global Search and the Activity Feed, to enable you to work even smarter and save time on a daily basis. We also improved the Documents live tile, and are working on some great Micro Apps behind the scenes. So keep on reading to find out more!

Find emails with Global Search

Emails in Global Search Workspace 365

To save you a lot of time, In our last update, we were proud to introduce our Global Search functionality, with which you can easily search through your entire workspace for applications and documents.

This update, we are expanding our Global Search functionality by enabling you to search through your Emails as well, making finding information in your workspace even easier.

Our Activity Feed is becoming an increasingly important part of the workspace. With the introduction of our Activity Feed API in update 3.18, we already enabled a more task-oriented way of working by bringing information, notifications and tasks from external applications to your workspace. This allows you to integrate information from thousands of applications and work smarter and more efficiently.

Because of the more prominent part the Activity Feed can play in your adaptive workspace, we now show an indicator for unread activities in the browser tab. With this, you can instantly see when you have a new item in your Activity Feed, even when you are not currently in the workspace itself. This enables you to respond to new items even quicker.

See who last edited documents

We have improved the Documents live tile to give you more information in one glance. In your list of recently edited documents, you can now see who last edited a file. This will simplify collaborating with your colleagues even more, because in one second you can see who made changes, allowing you to instantly discuss them with the colleague in question.

Behind the scenes: vote on new Micro Apps

Micro Apps Workspace 365

We are hard at work on making the way you work even easier, saving you time and enabling you to focus on what’s really important: your work. One of the most important ways of doing this, is by uniting information and simplifying secondary and primary processes in your workspace using Micro Apps.

The Micro Apps enable you to view information and execute tasks straight from your adaptive workspace, without having to open any external application. We have for instance already introduced Micro Apps for Autotask, TOPdesk and ConnectWise to show the status of people’s support tickets. In the Netherlands, we already integrate the applications that healthcare workers otherwise would have to switch to throughout their day, like Vilans KICK (protocol application that is available today), ONS Nedap (electronic client data, available in November) and AFAS (ERP software).

Develop your own integrations with no-code / low-code

In the previous update we also released the Activity Feed API. This makes it easy for IT-admins (and people who are slightly tech-savy) to integrate all your existing and upcoming tools in the digital workspace. In this video we show how you can use citizen integration tools like Microsoft Power Automate, Zapier or IFTTT to bring all your notifications and tasks to the activity feed.

Additionally, you can also use the RSS-feeds, SharePoint integration, YouTube tile or web content tile to unite everything people need in one digital workplace.

Vote or submit your favorite Micro App to save development costs

Based on feedback from our customers we are developing Micro Apps. By voting on Micro Apps you help us to set priorities. Each Micro App that we develop is available to all customers within the Boost package. This will make sure that organisations don’t spend their (public) money on developing integrations that others also need.

See which new Micro Apps are already on the roadmap, vote for your favourite(s) or submit a new one on our Support Portal!

What else is new?

The features above are the highlights of this update. But there’s more, such as:

  • We replaced the third-party file uploader used in the Documents app with a first-party implementation.
