Are you ready to boost the engagement in your business? If so, stay tuned! This new update will explain some new features that will facilitate users to stay up to date with the newest announcements and company updates. As well as some other revisions that will improve your digital workspace usability.
Add documents to knowledge items
Let’s start with a highly requested addition to our Knowledge Base. This new feature will offer a choice to add documents to your knowledge article, allowing you to bring some extra sources of information to the reader. You can now choose documents from your workspace Document Management System, which means that you can attach a document from a SharePoint or WebDav folder to your article.
A daily summary in your mail
To enhance our platform use, some customers and partners have requested the option of sending an email to their users when an announcement is created. So, for example, those who are not yet used to opening the workspace right away at the start of their workday; will now get an email reminder.
Within this daily summary email, we will present users with an activity overview that will include not just announcements, but also upcoming birthdays, newly available apps, and custom activities. Users can configure the receiving of these emails themselves.
We can extend this in the future with different activities, the possibility to choose your own schedule and the control for the users of which activities they want to include in this email and what not. But that’s something for later. For now, we are happy to present this summary email as part of our service.
What else is new?
The features above are the main highlights of this new update but we also have other enhancements to share with you:
- We have changed the font sizes of different components within the workspace, to improve readability.
