It’s now possible to create an event in your digital workplace. Invite colleagues to an online, physical or hybrid event, and use it for training sessions, your annual staff outing, an online workshop, or anything else relevant to you.

The Hub: the central point in your digital workplace

It’s very easy to create an event within the Hub. The Hub contains all information about announcements, knowledge items, and now also events. All three have the same extensive layout options, such as columns and images. This allows you to customise your invitation to your specific needs. events

Events in the Hub

If you go to the Hub in your digital workspace, you will now also see events there. Creating and managing an event is very easy and there are several options. You can indicate whether it’s an online, physical, or hybrid event, but also whether it’s a paid event, display the number of available places, when someone can register, and much more!

In the calendar, with location

When someone signs up for the event, the event is immediately visible in their own Outlook calendar. Changes to the event are also updated automatically. And if a location is specified, participants can click on it and Google Maps opens. So everyone is always up-to-date with the right information and location.

So whether there is a staff outing, a conference for which you have a limited number of tickets, or an online event, go to your digital workplace!

Tip

Don’t forget to add the events tile to your own digital workspace. If you haven’t set this up (yet), you can do this very easily. Read more about it here.

If you haven’t set this up (yet), don’t worry, via the Activity Feed at the top right of your digital workspace (the little bell), you will always stay up to date with the latest developments, including events.

Simplify – Adapt – Boost

Events, like announcement and knowledge items, is available in the Adapt or Boost package. If you have an Adapt or Boost package, you don’t need to do anything, events are automatically added to The Hub. If you have a Simplify package, upgrade your package quickly.

Responding to birthday wishes

It’s always nice to receive birthday wishes in your digital workplace, but as a birthday person, you couldn’t respond to this or thank colleagues. Until now! From now on, there is the possibility to respond with various emoticons. We hope it will encourage interaction among colleagues.
