We’re very happy right now. The TechRound 100 Awards have just been announced and a judging panel has placed Workspace 365 third in the ranking. It’s a great note on which to end what’s been a busy, productive and exciting year for our team.
TechRound was established in 2016 and is a well-known and respected source of news on all things start-up. The awards, which focus on the UK and Europe, have gone from strength to strength. In 2023, we have been in competition with some truly outstanding tech companies. There are businesses of all sizes, working in many different fields. It’s inspiring to see the work that’s being done and the advances being made.
To be included in the list of the best startups in tech is humbling – but, of course, we are delighted to be there. What’s very satisfying is knowing that our mission of simplifying IT for users resonated with a judging panel of tech experts. One of the judges commented that they were impressed by start-ups that helped people reach their full potential, and that’s a big part of what Workspace 365 facilitates.
Our background is in tech. We’re a tech business that believes in and loves tech, but for most people, technology is a tool. If that tool is awkward to use, it’s frustrating, and as tech has proliferated, the frustration has grown. We’re just removing the frustrations, and in doing so saving users time and helping them to work better together.
Let us put aside our modesty for a moment: Workspace 365 is a remarkable digital workplace. Version 4 has recently been launched and the platform’s evolution will continue. We’re in the midst of an exciting scale-up. We’re growing the team and have established our UK base in Manchester. We’re forming new partnerships, which is helping us reach more organisations and more users. We can list and quantify the benefits our platform delivers. But there is more to us than the cold hard facts of size, scale and revenue. We still believe in fun, and we have enormous faith in the potential of our people.
It seems that with this award, the judges have seen what we’re doing and how we’re doing it. And they’ve placed us third, so they must approve.
